Welcome to EnglishConnect. The ability to speak English will be a great blessing in your life. English skills can lead to better employment, help you pursue educational opportunities, expand your circles of friends and acquaintances, and help you in many other ways.

The purpose of this course is to help you develop basic English speaking skills with EnglishConnect activities focused on vocabulary, listening, and conversation practices.

This course requires you to be able to access the internet and different technologies (apps and so on) in order to review, practice, and learn outside class. Like developing any other skill, constant practice and time will help you develop English speaking skills. So, practice as much as you can in and outside class. Be constant and diligent in your efforts, and have fun while learning.

As you work with others to achieve the course’s objectives, you will experience the blessings of sacrifice, work, self-reliance, and love. Your positive attitude, preparation, and dedication will improve your life and the lives of those around you.

About the Instructor:

Teacher Eric is TESOL certified with 5 years worth of experience teaching English as a second language (ESL) to hundreds of students of multiple levels, ages, and countries. When he first started teaching English, he lived in Japan as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints (2014-2016). After he returned back to the united states, he became an online ESL teacher for VIPKID (2016-2019). Now he is an instructor for EnglishConnect.

Teacher Eric is capable of teaching to students needs by taking the time to help students grow and learn at their capability. he is energetic, empowering, and enthusiastic about teaching English. He likes to teach through activities and conversation. He will inspire you to do your best and help you enjoy the process.
